Hey, ladies! If you’re like us, then you don’t need a reason to throw a great party for you and your friends. So we decided to throw a Beauty Bash to pamper the lovely ladies in our lives. All you’ll need are a few of your favorite cosmetic products, some sweet treats, a modern tablecloth that’s easy to wipe down, and a Cyndi Lauper inspired soundtrack and you’ve got the party of every woman’s dreams.

Every great party begins with choosing a great supplier. Party Pail is a fantastic online party supply company that offers an assortment of themes and supplies for any occasion. Check out how we used these festive supplies to create our fabulous little bash!

Start by downloading our free printables for your beauty bash, especially the printable for the balloon in a box invitation.
These plain white boxes can be found at your local Michael’s craft store. Use gloss Mod-Podge and fine glitter to add a sparkling strip to the bottom of your invite box. Connect your invitation to a balloon with baker’s twine. We absolutely adored the rich color of satin raspberry from Party Pail and decided to use this balloon for the box invite. If you’re mailing these out to friends, be sure to place your white box inside of a bigger cardboard box to avoid damage.

Instead of hanging our streamers in traditional twists along the walls, we decided on a less predictable approach, opting for a fringe cut and hanging each streamer in alternating colored layers. This festive technique doesn’t take long to create and you may opt to cover an entire wall in this style. Use clear tape when adhering the strips to the wall.
After hanging your layers of fringe streamers, don’t stop there. Create an eye-catching dynamic wall by layering balloons of various colors. Party Pail offers a great variety of color options for balloons with satin textures that boast a lush sheen. Finally, add a glitter triangle garland by purchasing glitter paper from your craft store, cutting triangles and taping each piece to a basic white string.
We chose to build our party theme from some of the most basic pieces from the Party Pail, though the party shop offers a great variety of designs for all kinds of special occasions. Our favorite was the chevron pattern which looks both bold and feminine when paired with a delicate candy pink.

Personalize your basic partyware using a rose gold fine glitter. You’ll also need Scotch brand painter’s tape, Mod-Podge Gloss, and a paint brush or foam brush. It’s important not to just glue and dust glitter on top. You don’t want to specks of glitter falling from your cutlery while your guests are eating. Start by taping off the bottom of your utensils. Then mix a hefty amount of glitter with your glue and paint the combination onto the tip of each utensil. If you think you need a bit more glitter, it’s okay to sprinkle a little more before the first coat dries. To seal the glitter onto the cutlery, paint a final coat of gloss Mod-Podge on top.
If you’re like us, then you’re always looking for ways to save money. A frugal option for decorating your tabletop is to use disposable partyware on top of gold chargers. This creates a luxe tabletop that also manages to remain soft and fun. We chose a simple candy pink plate, added chevron drink napkins, and finished off the setting with black, guest towel napkins which we tied with baker’s twine to create adorable bows. The great thing about the Party Pail’s tableware is that you get a great bang for your buck. They’ve got affordable prices and you get a great bulk for your money, which works well if you’re planning on throwing a larger event. We especially loved the black and white chevron tableware.
The chevron drink napkins were thick and sturdy, just as a great drink napkin should be. If you’re thinking about printing on paper napkins, these are a great option. We found that the paper straws were exceptionally durable (and also ridiculously cute). They lasted throughout the evening and added a cheerful splash of color to our drink bottles.
You can decorate your drink bottles with paper straws and printable drink labels that allow your guests to write their names on their drinks.
Instead of using treat bags, we decided to use chevron ice cream cups from Party Pail. We filled them with inexpensive beauty products from Five Below and our local beauty supply shop. You may choose to splurge on your guests by also mixing in high end brands from Mac or Sephora. This way, you don’t break the bank, but still accommodate many different tastes in beauty.
You can also have your guests bring in their favorite beauty products and create a “Try Me” station. Display the products just like you’d see in the beauty department of your favorite store. This way your guests can test one another’s products, sharing their favorite brands and beauty secrets. Geneane found the perfect acrylic stand from her job for this display.

One concern that comes with this type of party though should be mentioned, makeup spills. Our eye-catching dynamic streamers that we talked about earlier aren’t completely for show. Makeup can get everywhere, even if there isn’t any alchohol at your party, and mascara can be a pain to get off the walls! You might as well hire a Quality Calvary painting contractor or another wall painting company to redo that bit of the wall and get rid of it. And try not to use a room with a carpeted floor if you can. And one more thing I thought is worth bringing up is the use of their toilet, especially if the guest list is quite large. If you don’t mind people using your bathroom then that’s fine, but it’s another room which needs cleaning, tidying and potentially decorating beforehand. Clearly, it will also need a thorough clean afterwards. You also need to consider the accessibility of your bathroom. If you have any disabled guests coming to your party, you might want to consider hiring a disabled toilet for them to use. Even if you don’t require a disabled toilet, you might want to hire a portable toilet anyway, just to take the hassle out of it.
