Paper Heart Earrings

For this DIY, you’ll need:

  • Red Cardstock
  • Fiskars Heart Paper Punch
  • Elmer’s Craft glue stick
  • Earring backs
  • Hot glue gun

Picture

You can definitely do this craft while catching on the latest episode of your guilty pleasure TV show. Punch out at least 12 hearts for each earring using your Fiskars heart punch. Begin gluing your hearts together with your glue stick. You don’t need to use a lot of glue, just use enough to cover the whole heart. Once you’ve glued together two equal stacks of tiny hearts, use just a dab of hot glue on the flat part of your earring back. Quickly place the earring back on your heart stack, pressing very gently. If you press too hard, the glue will spill over and become sloppy. That’s it, you’re all done!

This is a great DIY gift to hand out to your friends on Valentine’s Day. They’ll just love it!

5 Min. DIY: Scrapbook Paper Photobooth

Time for holiday parties! And the time to make sure you don’t forget those memorable moments. Of course, we’ll all be taking photos at our holiday parties, dinners and family get-together’s, so why not create a space just for that? We wanted to take a photo backdrop that wouldn’t take long to make, but gives us the sparkly, holiday effect we wanted. For this DIY, all you’ll need is sheets of scrapbook paper of your choice and painter’s tape. I found these very glittery and colorful 12×12 sheets of paper in the clearance aisle of my local craft store, which were only $.50 each. We used 16 sheets total, so as it turned out, this DIY only cost us $8! This paper was a bit thicker than a typical paper, which held up very nicely. I love these colors- you can also look for red, green, and gold colors to use for the Christmas season. I’m sure these photos would look great on anyone’s Instagram, my friend did the same and wanted more people to see her lovely pictures so she asked how to gain followers on instagram? Apparently, companies like socialfollow can give you a little boost if you need it to your followers count, it is worth checking out. Purchasing followers online is nothing to be embarrassed about either. We all sometimes need a bit of help to kickstart our accounts, so don’t be worried about getting some help if you do want to advance your account. With more followers, there are normally more opportunities that can come your way. It’s important to remember that even some of the best influencers use instagram managers to grow their accounts every now and then, so there’s no reason you couldn’t do that either. If you’re trying to get your photos out there, it’s always good to have an existing audience to share them with, so it might be worth purchasing some followers that can engage with your content. Hopefully, this will result in more people noticing your account and following it. Once you’ve built up an audience, and the people on Instagram like your pictures enough, it might be worth thinking about starting a YouTube channel to give your followers a more in-depth look into your life. This can help your followers to get to know you better, and you can share some of your fun adventures with them. When you attend as many holiday parties as us, it’s fair to say that there would be some fun content to share on a YouTube channel. Of course, you’ll need subscribers to share your videos with. To purchase some, you could visit https://getfans.io/es/comprar-suscriptores-youtube, for example. This could get your channel started. Start sharing some of your life activities, it could bring you a lot of exciting opportunities as a social media influencer.

You’ll need to tape the paper to your wall, making sure the edges line up as neatly as you can get them. Believe me, we had to reposition them a few times to get it just right. The great thing about using scrapbook paper as a photo backdrop is that you can create your own look by repositioning the tiles however your choose. Create fun patterns for a variety of cool photos!

For this DIY, we also made faux sparklers. Cutting small pieces of tinsel and adhering it on the tips of cake pop sticks was an easy way to create faux sparklers to use as a New Year’s Eve party prop. Use tacky glue, or hot glue to secure it to the top. We found that gold tinsel mimics the look of real sparklers rather than most other colors.

Tailor this DIY to go with your Christmas or New Year’s celebration. We love our photo booth, and now we’re so ready to take tons of holiday pictures with our friends and family! Happy DIY from Spark and Chemistry!
